Besides the thick, best steaks they are known for, I also suggest the walleye almondine, and the grilled cheese sandwiches!!! Can't be beat. We always have a great time at the Steak House.

Wonderful service. Accommodated our students before a concert at Vermilion College. Although our large group ended up being almost 40 minutes late, they were able to serve up a wonderful dinner and get us out in time for the performance!

If you are the type who enjoys a great Bloody Mary, the Ely Steak House makes the best in town. They make their own mix, and it is top notch and served right. If it is a dreary damp type day, I would tell you to go early afternoon if possible, because the bar can get crowded at times. A great time to try one of their Bucky Burgers if you ask me! The service is always good, and the bartenders will treat you well.
